The Bergenfield High School Alumni Association will offer a scholarship 
in the amount of $1,000.00 to a Bergenfield High School graduate who is furthering his/her
education at a university, college, technical school or other institute of higher learning.

For those of you interested in the Alumni Scholarship, here is a list of criteria for the Scholarship.  The amount of the scholarship sometimes changes with some generous donations, from individuals, class reunions and fundraisers.  Scholarship applications are usually offered in April of the students senior year.

The Criteria for eligibility are:
1) applicant must be related to a Bergenfield High School Alumnus (parent,
    aunt/uncle, cousin, grandparent, etc.)
2) The recipient cannot be the recipient of another community scholarship.
3) Applicant will be judged on need, ambition, personality and citizenship.
4) Applicants must be available for and interview, if and when requested.
5) Applicantions can be picked up in the Bergenfield High School Guidance office..
    Completed applications must be returned to the guidance office.
